Table runner

I am in a quilt group that meets once a week.  There are on any given week six of us.  One of the gals purchased an entire sewing room from a widower.  She found in the lot a bag containing six table runner kits.  We each were given one and I finished mine.

 

The blocks look quite complicated, but are merely comprised of flying geese and half square triangles.  It was a lot of fun to piece.  My quilting was quite simple as the back piece was darker and my bobbin insisted on wanting to come to through to the top.  On the blocks themselves I stitched in the ditch.  Then I did a bit of meandering on the inside border and stippling on the outer border.
