I don’t
usually make New Year’s Resolutions.
They seem so definite and inflexible.
But in the spirit of this being the first day of the new year, here are
some of my goals for 2013 (in no particular order):
1. Quilt for my oldest son
2. Wall quilt for the living room
3. Curtains for the master bedroom
4. Shower curtain
5. Reversible table runner
and
last, but not least:
6. Organize
my fabric and scraps!
I have never really been
one to sit and write out sewing goals. I am actually more likely to have 12
projects going at once and start another one on a whim. I think I would like to
be more purposeful in my projects and not keep so many on the back burner, but
jump in and prioritize. Then again, nothing beats that rogue idea and running
with it. With that said, here are some sewing goals for this year:
1. A baby quilt for my
new soon-to-be niece or nephew
2. An Ohio State quilt
for my husband for the basement
3. A funky mini wall
quilt for my sewing room
4. Reversible applique
placemats
5. Make a quilt that has
hexagons on it
6. Use some of the Flea
Market Fancy I have been hoarding
